1870s GLASS GONORRHEA PENIS SYRINGE
Here's an authentic gonorrhea syringe made of glass
from the 1870s period. This syringe was used to inject liquid cures for
gonorrhea or venereal diseases directly into the sex organs (in this
case, it was a male syringe with pointed end for sticking directly into
the sexual organ)
These gonorrhea syringes were widely used, The main treatment for VD was liquid mercury, which gave rise to the popular saying in the 1860s..."An evening with Venus...a month with Mercury".
